AGM Minutes 2020

Location: Meeting via Zoom
Attendees: 10 members including Executive Committee.
Call to Order at 7:15pm
1. The President welcomed all attendees.
2. Adoption of Previous Annual General Meeting Minutes
Motion: Motion made that the minutes be adopted as presented.
Seconded: Motion seconded.
Motion carried.
3. Financial Report
The Treasurer presented the financial report and Financial Statements as at June 30, 2020.
Motion: Motion made that the Financial Statements be accepted as presented.
Seconded: Motion seconded.
Motion carried.
4. Librarian-Member at Large Report
The Librarian presented the library report, noting that since our 2020 spring concert has been
moved forward to 2021 as a result of the pandemic we will not need to purchase new music
this year.
The Librarian noted that we will be also able to use the same Christmas music as 2019 if we
are able to perform. An excel spreadsheet has been created for our Christmas music which
includes some promising new music to update our library.
5. Music Selection Committee
The Music Selection Committee members remain the same as in 2020.
6. Public Relations Report
The Public Relations member presented the Public Relations report, noting that suggestions
for any new performance possibilities are always welcome.
The possibility of performing outdoors for the Christmas season and of creating a virtual
Christmas song were discussed.
The Spring LAC concert has been moved to Saturday, May 15, 2021 and the deposit has been
moved forward to secure this booking.
7. Election of Executive Positions
The three Executive positions ending in 2020 were filled by the current incumbents by
acclamation. All positions are filled.
President: Carol Walker, continuing to June 2022
Vice President: Nada Roknic, continuing to June 2021
Treasurer: Patricia Kitteringham, continuing to June 2021
Secretary: Kim Amodeo, continuing to June 2022
Librarian-Member at Large: Pat Everitt, continuing to June 2022
Publicity: Sondra Donaldson, continuing to June 2021

The motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 8:34pm.
